Isn't it strange that prefer Ace Combat Assault Horizon Legacy over Kid Icarus Urpising, Fire Emblem Awakening and Fire Emblem Fates? It's hard to compare to those games since they are completely different genres of games. But, Ace Combat Assault Horizon Legacy has better characters and better storylines than any modern Fire Emblem game. The storylines in Fire Emblem Fates sounds more like a poorly written Fire Emblem fanfic than the story of a Fire Emblem game. Seriously, who wrote the storylines in Fire Emblem Fates? It's no wonder why there's people out there that try to make a better version of Fire Emblem Fates' story. 

Ace Combat games always keep their stories rather than changing them up. No one would take Ace Combat games seriously if they had stories of romance and fanservice. Fire Emblem needs waifus to sell games. The only reason why Fire Emblem Fates became popular is because of waifu-ism and those stupid fanservice units. Ace Combat on the other hand, didn't need fanservice characters or waifus to sell games. It just needed top notch storylines and gameplay and awesome planes to sell games. 

This is just my personal opinion and if you disagree with me, that's fine. The whole point is that I will never waste money on Fire Emblem Fates or Kid Icarus Uprising. Especially when you have to buy DLC for Fire Emblem Fates in order to get the full story of the game, ugh.  I'm better off with Ace Combat Assault Horizon Legacy anyways. It's up there with some of my best 3DS games in my collection alongside WarioWare Gold, Kirby Planet Robobot and Donkey Kong Country Returns. I'm happy with what I've got.
